You’re not wearing that again, are you?!

I do sympathise with celebs. Well, sometimes.

Constantly in the public eye and when they are, they feel the need to be wearing something new, or at least different, lest they be accused of some fashion faux pas. If you’re a film celeb, being in the public eye is actually an audition for your next role.

You can see this in social media, the idea that messages have to be new, or fresh every time. They don’t, if only because our attention spans are being reduced to that of a fruit fly.

Messages, to hit home, have to be repeated. It’s what a former boss of mine called making use of ‘evergreen content’. And it’s one of the reasons why you see the same soap advert constantly running alongside your favourite soap opera on telly.

Now, that repetition or frequency is up to you and can be determined by your data. From analysis you can see what combination of images, videos or copy is working and you make adaptations accordingly.

As we enter the months of spring, have a clear out, but don’t be too harsh and throw out what can serve you again…and again.

Now for me, as far as rice and peas goes, that has to be part of every Sunday dinner.

That’s it. That’s all.
